| Brian Wehner, Owner
Brian Wehner has been a fitness professional for seven years. He
is currently certified through the American Council on Exercise
(A.C.E.), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (N.S.C.A.),
he is also adult and child CPR certified. Brian graduated in 1999
from Renton Technical College with over 1300 hours completed in
their accredited personal training course.
He became interested in becoming a fitness leader after his military
service ended in 1998. "I have always had a passion for helping
others reach their fitness goals and could not think of a better
way than becoming a personal trainer. With an entrepreneurial spirit
I thought what a great idea it would be to combine these two and
become a Fitness Together owner."
In his spare time, Brian is writing a book on his own unique approach
to training. He also enjoys softball, working out, and being a white
water river guide.

Rachel Tanev, Trainer
Rachel comes from a very athletic background. She started at an early age playing sports; everything from basketball to soccer. Rachel decided to pursue her passion for fitness by becoming a personal trainer. She is certified through the National Federation of Personal Trainers. In her free time she likes to run, read, cook, and spend time with her family and friends. She has become a pet lover through the help of Beau, Gater, Melmon and Squash!
Her current goal is to go back to school to obtain her degree in Exercise Science. |

| Kelly Turner, Service Manager
Kelly is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). She is a health and fitness writer for www.groundedfitness.com and is also a featured fitness blogger on Sympatico/MSN Health and Wellsphere.com. She has monthly health and fitness articles that appear in The Renton Reporter and Newcastle News.
In her spare time, Kelly likes to go to the gym, bake, write and spend time with her family and friends.

| Josh Lyon, Trainer
Josh graduated from Kansas state university with a Bachelors degree
in Kinesiology in August 2004.
Josh was born and raised in Kansas and enjoys working out, running
with his husky “Tundra”, any outdoor activity and most
importantly spending time with his wife Rachel.
“I enjoy working with clients in a one-on-one,private setting,allowing
each individual to get the personalized attention they need to make
every rep count.”

| Jill Crippen, Trainer
Jill has worked in the health club industry for the past four years. She’s a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and a Body Mind Academy, Fitness and Nutrition Consultant.
In her spare time, Jill enjoys snowboarding, riding her horses, gardening, and healthy cooking. |

John Wayne Penton, Jr, Trainer
John Wayne Penton, Jr. MS, NASM, comes to Fitness Together with a BA Degree from the University of California, Berkeley where he played football and ran track after receiving a full ride scholarship following his graduation from Lakes High School in Lakewood, WA. He was a Pac-10 starter at cornerback for the Bears, pac-10 panel speaker, is a two time Washington state Track & Field Champion, a National Scholar Athlete Award winner and has coached 5 state champions in Track and Field and numerous collegiate athletes. Recently, John received his Master of Science degree with an emphasis on Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention from California University of Pennsylvania. John is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Currently, while performing his duties at Fitness Together, John is also a volunteer assistant Coach for the University of Washington track team.
John enjoys traveling, playing & listening to music, as well as making short films. |
